Rose was thrilled with her open studio day on the 17th September. It may have been raining glass beads, from a pewter cloud on the shed, but the sun shone in the garden.
“It was great to have the oppourtunity to make some site-specific pieces. It has allowed people to see how I can help to fill that tricky space with something fun and attractive. Showing my work in the right setting really helps people understand how I see it being displayed.”
Both the garden knitting and the watering can were popular. Rose is making more knitting for a client's garden and two sets of water drops for people who have lovely watering cans that deserve more than a life at the back of the shed.
Rose was thrilled with the reaction to the new indoor pieces and has several commissions for Christmas presents, using a variety of glass and metal to suit each client.
Perhaps you want a special Christmas present or something unique for your home or garden?.
